I was just wondering-is everyone who goes on the equality ride a Christian? Is the ride billed as such, or is it billed as an interfaith equality ride? It seems to be considered to be a "Christian lead" thing, but I was wondering, since the forum is (rightly) comprised of people who hold various religious beliefs .

I believe it is in fact a mixed group. I had been of the impression it was by and for Christians, but I believe I've since heard differently.
Anyone else?

I read through many of the profiles of the riders that participated last year. I woud say that the majority are Christians, but not all. There was a mixture of views, backgrounds and belief systems among the riders.

I believe they have a website (you can probably get it from the home page of Soulforce). A few of the Riders post here now and then. It gets quiet in the in-between stages, but just before, during and after the Ride there is lots of action here regarding the action. It has shown to be quite effective, one school at a time. Policies have been revised, some significantly. It works. And there are always a good number of students who come on here and express their happiness and gratitude that someone is doing something to help.
