Last night, after Derrick left, Brandon Woodward and I were alone. We had played GHIII throughout the day. As usual I poked around on Brandon and stuff...
I was a lot more touchy with Brandon after Derrick left. He didn't seem to mind...it was great. Then he told me that he wasn't really interested in Derrick anymore-prob'ly because he had taken it too far too early. I was a little bit surprised, but that allowed me to be a little more...open.
I gently pushed him back and straddled him, then after staring at eachother for what seemed ages we...kissed.
Oh the euphoria I felt-it was bliss all over again! I had forgotten what that felt like...it was absolute magnificence.
We made out a little, he told me how much trouble he was having with Derrick and Hailey...I asked him if there was a possibility that we might rekindle our flame...he said, "Maybe.".
Maybe...maybe...

Awwww!!! That is really sweet! I'm kinda jealous, I have not even gotten that far with my not yet boyfriend but is a good friend of mine. Last mall trip I took with my friend, we stared a lot. So you are gonna have to give me tips. He leaned in when I said goodbye, and looked like he wanted a kiss, yet I just gave him a tight hug. He then looked dissapointed, expecting a kiss. I'll tell the truth I really am afraid to initiate anything, he plays with my hair and rubs my back, but I do nothin in return, I remain frozen!
Anyways, congrats on the kiss, hope it all works out for the both of you!
Also, GHIII rocks!!!:D

Hey - if he's touching you in all those flirtatious ways, I am sure your instinct is right - he is hoping you will respond!

...of wanting someone who isn't quite on the same page as you. That can be really tough. Been there.
Years ago. I met a tall handsome blond man. I was infatuated beyond belief. Know what? He didn't see it that way. Oh...it 'lasted' about two years. On and off dating. We never really lived together. Eventually, I figured out that there was nothing I could do to change the situation, he wanted to play the field and I wanted to make home, so I said "to hell with this!" and went through a period of confusion, a tunnel which seemed to stretch on forever. Somehow, I came out on the other side. Just kept meditating, going to work, living my life. Met some great and not so great guys. Started thinking about being the Prince I wanted to have.
Don't get me wrong: I don't think there is a formula for love. Far from it. It's just my story.
But I do know one thing: nothing is gained if you don't take some risks. (I do NOT mean sexual risks). Broken hearts can be be whole again. The sun does come out tomorrow. And we can count on disappointment in love and life. It goes with the territory.
The important thing to keep in mind is what you want in a relationship- what you want in life. It just doesn't float towards one. We have to make it happen, even if that means going out to that party when we'd rather mope and stay in. That's when we see that guy across the room and our heart goes pitter patter.
Loving another person is riskly business. But worth the risk.
Kiss the man for Christ's Sake! And don't settle for 'Maybe". That sounds like he's afraid of commitment. As well he should be. It scares the shit out of the bravest of us.
You'll find your man.
