Piglets!

We have some new piglets. This sow only had 3. She isn't one of our super sow breeders. But, hers are very cute. 2 white ones and 1 tri-color, red-black-white.

The last sow that pigged had 12 and 8 lived to wean. Her name is Lucky. She's a Tamworth. The boar is a Glouster Old Spot names Elvis. We also have a Yorkshire boar named Homer.

I almost got 3 new pigs yersterday. I was in town at the building where our freezers are. I went out the door and saw 3 pot-bellies in the driveway eating feed that had pilled out of the truck. I don't know who they beong to. I tried to grab them and they ran. Piggies are hard to catch.

Hey Redneck, got any photos??? I love little piggies. My daughter bought herself this FURREAL it's called little piglet last year, that oinks and squeals and it is REALLY tiny- it is so darned cute!!!!! :)

Post a pic! I love pigs, and piglets. And they are smart. They know enough to hang out in the cool mud eating all kinds of yummy slop and let the people do all the work!!!

The ALBC is a fabu organization that preserves older, heartier, traditional breeds of animals from going extinct because of using only one breed of chicken or turkey, etc, in factory farming.
