View Full Version : fun at the nursery
Sunday, I convinced the wifey to do a spontaneous day of galavanting with me (after all the chores were done).
We started at a great nursery/garden center, locally owned and opperated.
While there I spotted three guys together shopping and my gaydar started beeping wildly. Look, look I said wildly to me, people just like me!!! A few minutes later one of the cuties approached me and my wife with a lily in a clay pot with another pot slipped over the clay one. He asked us if the pot "worked." My wife pointed out that the lily had some new growth and I said the pot was to big for the plant...geez, his gaydar must have been working too, the flirt (I loved it, this is about as close as I get to another guy these days). Later on he found us again with a new pot, which I hastened to approve, enjoying every minute of the experience. damn, I need to get out more often.
was your wife oblivious to the sexual subtext?
She had to be aware, but gave no indication. The guy was subtle, he spoke with both of us and was not gushing or anything. On the other hand, it may have been my imagination . It was more of two guys acknowledging that I see you thing. It was nice to see and be seen.

We all need those boosts, it really energizes and keeps us in the human aspect of what our experience is, I think. Flirtation makes the world go round, enjoy it whenever you can!!!
When is your next trip to the nursery? LOL

I'm shocked. I think all these gay encounters in public places are shameful. What is the world coming to!? The whole subject is very disturbing!

Uh just exactly where is this nursery?
Is it the one that's on highway 250?

My plans for the weekend: Cruise the nurseries.

Just an academic question: Just what would a person wear when cruising for guys at a nursery on a weekend? I'm not inquiring for myself; I just find the topic intriguing. No personal interest at all.

But seriously, what do you think? How about khaki cargo shorts and a short sleeve red Mock T? (or would the black one be better?) Or maybe my navy blue sweatshirt at this time of year?

No guy who pumps iron should cover his upper body in a sweatshirt on such a mission.

I would think that you'd want to look functional as well as fashionable. I mean, looking good is one thing, but looking good while also looking ready to go down on your knees and get dirty would be another. It is a gardening center, after all, so you would probably do better if you looked like you were actually ready to plant something somewhere. An outfit that said, "Look at me - I have this spade and I know what to do with it." A t-shirt, perhaps, that said, "Baby, talk dirt to me", "Ask me about my prize carrot" or "I'd like to put your Naked Lads next to my Anaphallis."
