OK, after a little searching I found the rings. they are attached below. I started this new thread so as not to derail the Rainbow Jewelry thread.

Mine is the black titanium "stackable" ring
Scott's is the "gray" beveled ring

Aug 9th we put them on each other's fingers.

I asked my wife yesterday as we were laying together in the hammock out on the back porch if she had forever on her mind, and she looked at me with those beautiful big brown eyes of hers and said, "I have forever on my hand, baby." I closed my eyes and thanked God she was back in my life and in my arms.

I love your rings! I have seen some kinda like those at love and pride online. I love that titanium look.

Ellie and I had a heck of a time finding rings that fit our different selves. She is simple in her ring choice, drove me crazy that I could not get her a big ole jeweled band, but she only wanted a plain band. I, on the other hand, like a little bling. I wanted a smaller low set sapphire ring and a wrap to add a bit of sparkle. She did get a channel set band with sapphire in it to wear out of work. The trouble is, I am left handed, so my engagement ring is already all scratched up due to the work I do(repairing splints, wheelchairs and adapting equipment etc.)so I had to get, you got it, a plain band to wear at work also!

When are you guys getting married? We are slotted for August 23rd this Summer.

we're having the ceremony here in PA. while the legal marriage certificate would be great, it would only serve as a political statement. When the time comes, we'll do the legal thing. plus, we get to have a party here with our friends!

As it gets closer just remember that nerves will be at an all time high and you want everything to be perfect, but neither of you are, so give some slack and be understanding and gentle and kind...I know you are already.
