What troubles me is those who have a grudge against Hillary said they would vote for Mccain and if they don't like Obama wouldn't vote for him either. This election shouldn't be about personal grievances but what each candidate represents and what they plan to do for our country. Mc Cain's plan seems is pretty dismal , more war? While campaigning in Michigan earlier this month, McCain said some Michigan industries cannot be resurrected. “I’ve got to give you some straight talk: Some of the jobs that have left the state of Michigan are not coming back,” he said.
And just this weekend, McCain told a crowd of supporters, “There’s going to be other wars. … I’m sorry to tell you, there’s going to be other wars. We will never surrender but there will be other wars.”
UPDATE: Matthew Yglesias writes, “Oddly, though, McCain keeps picking up the votes of Republican primary voters disgruntled with the Iraq War despite being, in reality, the candidate most fanatically devoted to the cause.” More here.
This pretty much astonishes me , people need to put aside their petty grievances and think about what is good for this country as a whole... That seems pretty shallow to quibble over . What about how this will affect our economy, the environment, our troops.... workers, homeowners. education, vets,elderly, this election isn't about their little microscopic world inside their own minds, this affects alot of people and there is a much larger world out there beyond the confines of their shallow thinking. Hillary is my first choice but if she doesn't win the nomination, I will vote for Barrack because he is promising and isn't a fatalist and isn't painting this bleak picture of America , nor does he have a defeatist mentality. Just what we need more war , more war, more bleak predictions of the economy and a defeatist mentality ."Well folks that is just the way it is." NOT!!!!!!
Sometimes I think people will cut off their nose to spite themselves.... YEEEEEESH.
