We were studying the Holocaust, and I must say it is very depressing. I had no idea how much reading a history textbook could affect me...and I usually view myself as being an emotionless smartarse, lol^_^
Anyways, I keep hearing that the Jews killed Jesus, but is this really true? I have no idea, but I don't think it was right for Hitler to attempt a genocide at these people for religious reasons...now economically that's probably a different story, but I don't care. I heard that the Jews view Jesus as the Antichrist, so I'm not getting involved in that case...I was just curious about a few things, that's all.

The Hebrew religion DOES NOT view Jesus as an antichrist. They say he was a prophet, but not the Son of God.

The Jews didn't kill Christ, by the way, it was the Romans who crucified him. And yet the vatican sits right in the middle of Rome. Interesting, huh?

And do I understand you to say that it would be ok for Hitler to commit genocide for economic reasons??????

No that can't be right, I'm sure you didn't mean that. kara

I feel like you're being raked over the coals today....but I'm gonna do this anyway. Sometimes, lessons can be tough, but tough lessons are often remembered best.

You don't care????? wtf? what do you mean you don't care? These are people's lives we're talking about. Do you really mean to say that people's lives, thousands of them, don't matter to you? Or is it just the reason that they lost their lives that doesn't matter to you?

Presentation. Presentation. Presentation. Sometimes, this being one of them, how you say something is as important as what you say.

I don't mean to say that I don't care about the loss of life, but then again it happened; it can't be changed; things happen in my life that are terrible, but people don't stop to pet me and ask, "Are you ok?". I might've had a tragic past, but that was back then--this is now, and I don't care. I do, however, understand that this event must never be allowed to repeat again, and care about what loss might occur if it does...but I really can't say much else until I go beyond veil and discover what might've truly caused the Holocaust.
