Hey all,

I'm Kari from Southeast WI. I love that this community exists. One of my dearest friends has struggled with his family's "spiritual" objections to his homosexuality in a very painful way. He's been made to feel like he's somehow less worthy of God's love -- and his family's love, too. When I see forums like this around, it renews my faith in God and humanity alike. I'm so glad that there are people out in the world who are committed to opening doors for the GLBT community! All I know is that my husband and I are raising OUR kids to love ALL of God's creation. It's nice to see there are others out there like us, who embrace diversity and appreciate differences!

What a great mom, and dad, you two must be. Raising your children to approach people with open hearts; that is as close to God as we can be I believe.......

Paul is right; hang around and express your thoughts. We have a lot of fun around here.......

Bless your heart! We need more parents raising their children not to hate. The world would be truly better. Your friend is surely lucky to have you to lean on!
