Can someone who has personally been through SRS tell me every graphic need-to-know detail about the surgery and the outcome? What characteristics should I be born with to ensure the best transition? (adam's apple, etc) Does the sexual stimuli come from the inside or the outside? Does the vagina look like a natural-born one? Any info is appreciated.
Thanks.

I'm cisgender, but had a trans roommate who taught me a lot about some of the processes. I can't give you any firsthand experiences, but...I'll do my best? (I waited awhile for someone more qualified to answer, and they still probably will, but I thought I'd give ya something in the meantime). My understanding is that SRS usually refers to the genital surguries: I don't know about what might help your odds there except to say a really good surgeon. The vagina, to my understanding, does look and function like a natural-born one: i've heard stories about gynocologists that had to be told that their patients weren't born with it. I don't know specifics on sexual stimulus except to say that it does exist if everything goes right.
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

Thank you, Alecto. I wonder if there are any post-op transsexual women here who could tell me their experiences that might help me out. Any info is appreciated.
Thanks.

Ashley, I'm married to an FTM, very little on my or his experience will help you. I do know, though, that many MTFs have recounted their experiences on Live Journal. You make get some insight there.
