This is my first visit and post to this site and I really like what I'm seeing. It's so nice to see that there are other spiritual people out there that actually care about others and are doing something to make a difference in America.

I've been following the progress of this bus tour and have been so incredibly proud of all the brave young people willing to subject themselves to public ridicule, harrassment and even arrest for the sake of just showing who you are and voicing an opinion. Keep up the great work and I will be happy to support this great organization!

Thank you! You ARE making a big difference!:)

On another note, I finally gave in to all the hoopla and rented Brokeback Mountain last night. What a haunting movie! Can't get it out of my head. It was also nice to see that every single copy was rented out at Blockbuster... and I live in a very conservative suburb of Seattle.

welcome jaltree!

Brokeback haunts me too. I was in a straight marriage...I have 3 kids.....that makes it tough for me to watch. I bought the dvd last week. I haven't even opened the shrinkwrap on it.

Glad to have you here!

I'm out in Sammamish... about 20 miles east of Seattle. It's pretty conservative, but more and more people moving out of the city all the time.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. :)

hey guys --

I'm in Seattle too -- I live right near UW (that would be the liberal part.)

Just thought I'd give a ShoutOut.

Good to see a few other folks from the Seattle area on here.

I think we need the Soul Force bus to make a stop at the Reverend Hutcherson's church some time. He is definitely the type of person that needs to get to know more gay people. ;-)

Definitely --

We've got a few potential bus stops in the area. We have our fair share of megachurches.
