I'm an unemployed librarian (prayers for me to get a job -- any job, not necessarily as a librarian -- real soon now would be most welcome). I'm 55, cuckoo, gimpy, and obsessive-compulsive (as are most librarians).

I like to sing (very well), play piano (pretty mediocre), & watch movies. I also love to read -- mainly mysteries. When I can, I like to cook & bake. I love to landscape with perennials, & have a ten-year plan to get rid of all grass on my property. I love blues, both for listening & for dancing, & like many other kinds of music as well. I'm crazy about men's college hoops. And I do adore cats. I have no sense of direction, & am considering installing a Lo-Jack in my derriere, so my family can locate me when I'm lost.

I am easily amused & love to laugh. I find humor in E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G. You name it, I will joke about it. If you want to be serious, say so -- I'll try. I make no promises, because I lapse often. 8^) So if there is any question about whether I'm joking in a post, always assume that I am -- it will save hurt feelings.

I found this site serendipitously, and am very pleased to have done so.

I'm a librarian, too, a corporate librarian. Welcome to Soulforce. Lots of nice people here. The watchwords here are respect and acceptance. There are all sorts of people here from all walks of life, all parts of the country and beyond, all ages, all philosophies, many religions and none ... and, oh yeah, all genders, gender expressions and sexual orientations.

Hey! Welcome, I am over in Grand Rapids. I usually go with my wife to Pride in Lansing every year. We do have a smallish one here, and we even got a protester last year.
