Hello everyone. :)
Starting at around this time tomorrow (June 10) I will be traveling and will be without computer access for at least 2 or 3 days - maybe for much longer.
Some of you may remember that my husband is in Germany -- well, tomorrow I hop on a plane to go join him, and then we will spend a month touring Europe with some family members for a crazy European vacation.
:D:D:D
:p:p:p
Sadly, this means I will be on Soulforce withdrawal. :( I will surely think about each of you often -- I do that, y'know.
The worst part of it is missing Danny's spectacular gathering. :'(:'( I just can't BELIEVE our Danny is hosting the first SF forum party and I Can't Go!!! :'(:'(
I will definitely be with y'all in spirit on June 28. I love you all and will be wishing I could finally meet ya.
Then again, Vienna's not so bad. I think we have tickets to the Staatsoper again. :p
Much love. Hopefully, I'll snag some internet time now and then during our travels.

Z,
Have a safe and fun trip, I'm sure it will be awesome. If you get a chance, check out the Lipizzaner horses (Royal Spanish Riding School in Vienna).
I'll certainly miss you, and hope you can get some time on the forums here and there.

Oh, those are phenomenal!! We didn't get to see the horses live the other times, but we did walk right past the place where they live. We have seen them on TV. They're unbelievable!!

I am crushed! Simply crushed! You chose Vienna over New York? How COULD you? I mean- what makes you think that the heart of Mozart-Land is better than the Big Apple?
I mean REALLY!
Oxy is NOT amused!
And she doesn't believe it for a moment: you are going to find the first laptop you can get your hands on girlfriend. Withdrawl?
We'll see. (Imperious glare)
Fine! GO have a FABULOUS vacation in Europe. You will be sorely missed. Or maybe not.....I haven't made my mind up yet......but please remember to return those shoes I lent you....you know....the 4 inch stiletto's. The red ones.....
Oh cruel fate!
(sobbing continues unabated until only the shaking of shoulders can be seen.........house lights fade to black)
:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:
Hope you have a lovely time!

Dearest, most Fabulous, Elegant, Unsurpassable Dame Oxy,
Can you ever forgive a flighty little thing like me for running off to Europe with a strapping, 6 foot tall, strong, handsome, brilliant musician who promised me a night at the Staatsoper - Verdi, no less - , followed by a London Ariadne with Debbie Voight, and finally 3 nights at a romantic B & B in Scotland?:pray::pray: (Zerbie looks shyly upwards towards the imperious Dame, trembling, dewy-eyed and innocent.)
And Lady Oxy, if I may dare to make a suggestion, perhaps it might cheer you to put A Little More Mascara on?:love:
Oh. PS: The shoes? The F*** Me Now shoes will be in the carryon, to be donned along with the flirty dress just before the plane lands in Dresden where my handsome beau will be waiting for me. Want 'em? Better move that party to Vienna, darlin' - imagine! We could all celebrate Pride Weekend together in Vienna!!! (I just now realized that we will be in Vienna on gay pride weekend for the second time. I hope we get to cheer for some of the parade!!)

Yeah, I hope I'll have internet at least a couple times a week, so I can pop in and be verbose.
:p
All packed now. After my last reply to Dame Oxy, I felt inspired to dig out our CD of La Cage aux Folles for a listen while I finished the packing and voilá, was done in a jiff. :p Talk about uplifting music!! :D:love:
Only question is, how come I don't get to be a drag queen? :( Man! I should be a guy so I could do drag. I wanna be Zaza!! :hissy: :(

Well...now that you mention it, the words strapping, 6 foot tall and and handsome rather do have some appeal, as well as brilliant and the promise at a night at the opera where other luminaries such as Dame Oxy have appeared. Just remember, that when you bow on the stage, to cross your legs just so, so that your bowed head nearly touches the floor. Always a nice touch and so rarely seen the days. But ah...the old ways are fast disappearing, just like our dear Zerbie.
(quiet sobbing)
Handsome you said? (suddenly looking up) HOW handsome?
And Lady Oxy, if I may dare to make a suggestion, perhaps it might cheer you to put A Little More Mascara on?:love:
Oh dear you are so right, one can never have too much, can one? Be a dear and pass me a tissue, will you?
Thanks much! (sniff sniff)

Glad to hear that your took my suggestion and are arriving in high style. Not enough of that either these days. All those little people wearing sweat pants on planes these days. Well....I never!
Does anyone still wear a hat?
And if you attend the parade, don't forget to wave your handkerchief from Tiffany's, the one with the monogram. A subtle, but classy touch. And I won't be suprised to hear that you lead the festivities off. That would be so like you. Head held high (hold on to the hat if it's windy) and waving like Queen Elizabeth- the Second, not the First. See almost got her head chopped off.
(conspiratorial voice)
And did you hear about that frightful old queen that was here the other day....oh but I digress...she'll be back...you can bet on that...looking for someone's' shoulder to cry on. If so, just make sure that those shoulder pads are firmly in place. You'll need them.
I so miss you already!
(air kisses)
(drying tears)
And try not to get into trouble like Ms. Andrews in The Sound of Music. No crossing of the Alps in the dead of night. Not in THOSE shoes.
Bon Voyage my dear Zerbie!
(sigh)
Handsome she said.....hmmmmmmmmm
(quizzical look)
(sitting bolt upright)
Oh Honey....we always knew you were a drag queen at heart. Pull up a chair....let's talk. Zaza is a perfect name, just don't tell you know you in Beverly Hills. she'll be pissed like I can't tell you.
:eek::eek::eek:
Never mind the "Soulforce withdrawal," what about the Zerbie withdrawal!!!
ok, I'll be strong knowing you will be enjoying yourself with your love in beautiful europe, I'll be able to deal with this for awhile, just don't get used to it .
I love you:love::love::love::love:, do have a wonderful time.

Just throwin' this out there, but I thought girls were totally allowed to be drag queens. It's a gender performance, right? Well, honey, long as you can perform!
You are definitely one of my faves here, and you will be missed; also, you will be the object of much envy. :) Have a good (safe) trip!

Just gotta wait a little more til time to shut down the computer and go.
Have been so lonely the last little while, and today has been, like, the slowest day I've experienced in years. Just waiting for time to leave! Can't WAIT to be with hubby!
have a great time! Your absence will be felt! I'll keep you in my thoughts!
ttfn!
Thank you, Scotty. Have been wondering and wondering, what does ttfn stand for? Thought I would figure it out, but haven't yet.
Glad to hear that your took my suggestion and are arriving in high style. Not enough of that either these days. All those little people wearing sweat pants on planes these days. Well....I never!

I do, and it's in the carry on, but I don't think it's what Oxy had in mind when she said "hat." It's a crumply little, casual white hat with big pink roses on it, bought on the Champs Ellysées during our honeymoon. I see Oxy in something broad-brimmed, that holds its shape.
(quizzical look)
(sitting bolt upright)
Oh Honey....we always knew you were a drag queen at heart.

I have never been so speechless in all my life. :'(:D I feel like Miss America! :D :p

Yippeeee!!!!! :applause::weee::D
Have a good (safe) trip!
Thank you.
Thanks, everyone. Okay. . . . I guess this means I'm outta here. . . for the time being.
Love you all. Y'all have a splendid time at that special soirée chez Madame Oxy.
*kisses*
