Wow...

That's all I can say. :) (ok, not really...) It was far beyond our expectations. Everything was so well done, it just blows my mind. And, there were only four "storm free" days in June, we got two of them! The weather for the parade & block party and then the festival was amazing.

I'm so proud of all our volunteer staff!!! :) I'm really proud of Tulsa!

We had 8 protestors at the parade. Before it started they were a bit of a nuisance and I think one may have gotten arrested for assault... but when everything started, they were simply swallowed up by the crowd of thousands of people... they were simply there... shoulder to shoulder with lots of happy homos... :) It was awesome!

And then, a historic occurence... there were ZERO protestors at the Equality Festival... absolutely amazing!

Here's an article about the Equality Festival...

So if you've been wondering where I've been for the last six months... :) I've been out changing the world!

Now it's nap time.

(...and I think I may have met someone...) :)

Sounds like a fabulous celebration. And how wonderful that you may have met someone. We'll keep you in our prayers. Kara

The rest is grea stuff, and so important. But that little parenthetical comment, in my mind, may be the best news from your post.

Might I just, "You go Nate." I hope it blossoms into something you can feel as good about as you do your advocacy work.
