Hey Everyone !
My name is Rachel King and I would like to partner my budding PaintedBlind®™ organization up with SoulForce to create an activistic ad campaign, which I am officially calling ReachOUT™. By partnering together, we will be made more visible as an activist group.
The purpose of this campaign is to promote the awareness of the suicide stats among LGBTs nationwide and to encourage the successful Outings of those who are battling depression because they are in the closet.
I have prepared two video montages based on the famous film version of Lillian Hellman's The Children's Hour as a promotable advertising tool.
ReachOUT™ is all about helping LGBTs accept themselves and be welcomed into the SoulForce community. There is hope here, and I believe that in coming together and creating an effective campaign (which I would like to bring to various Pride Celebrations over the course of the 2008-2009 year), we will be able to keep ReachOUT™ going for many years to come.
I would like to create a sister site to SoulForce whereby more information about ReachOUT™ can be accessible to anyone who is interested in volunteering so if you are able to help me by providing free or inexpensive webhosting, I would appreciate your email at: royalartisan@live.com.
