Like a lot of you, I've been keeping up with the news updates on the success of Soulforce's American Family Outing. Today I felt the need to express how impressed I am with this education effort with some of America's leading Christian mega-churches.
I'm thrilled that something like this is going on. These face to face meetings is exactly what this country needs to bridge the gap of misunderstanding and help end the fear between conservative Christians churches and LGBT people and families in America.
So to all the wonderful people and families who were involved in the American Family Outing, I want let you know that the work you have done the past six weeks is very much appreciated.
