Was recently introduced to this site by a friend in my church. What I've seen so far is great and I'm happy to be a member. Thanks for being here. Walt

Hi Walt,

Glad to have you with us. Tell us a little more about yourself. I see you are from Pennsylvania. I was there not to long ago. It seems like nice place.

I like your profile picture. But I have to say, after the mountains of snow we had in Colorado this winter, I am glad to have it summer for awhile.

Don't listen to Pablo, He really isn't as nice as he seems.

Now, you know I am kidding Walt. I like to push Pablos buttons from time to time!

If you totally ignore Matthew, you will probably sleep better at night.

I made the mistake early on of NOT ignoring him. You don't want to end up where I am now. :disagree:

Oh, and not all people on the forums are space cadets. It's mostly just Matthew and I. :D

Thank you for the warm welcomes Pablo, Matthew and Genee....It's great to be here among friends. Really enjoy the banter Pablo and Matthew...my dog wonders what I am smiling at..tee hee. I live in the Poconos, have a great partner and was introduced to this site by a friend at church earlier this week. Good things are happening. Thanks again!

Welcome to Soulforce. Glad you found us. Is there a large population of LGBT persons in PA? I am asking because I have a few friends that are lesbian moms from PA on my myspace and it seems like from what they say its pretty supportive.

I am from MI as you can see and its not real supportive here, but I guess better than other places!

As you have probably figured out by now, the gang around here is roughly equal parts Christian, Zany, and Gay :rainbow:

Hey Tyme and Chris,

Not sure about the total local population. I pretty much live in the sticks about 20 miles south of Scranton. There are a few supportive groups around mostly homebased in the city. As for Christian, zany, and gay I suspect I fall into all three categories...and I like it. I am pretty much a simple guy and I have a great partner so I really don't get out much. Hopefully I will be able to become more of an activist in our "crusade" for equality. I am one of those "shy at first but warms up quickly" kinda guys but once someone lites a fire under me I am off and cooking til done. Good to hear from you. God Bless. Walt
