Dear friends,

Thanks for remembering my natal day. Yes, it was most felicitous, Daniel. You do have a wonderful way with words. I'm taking a break to assess just where I am spiritually and where I am headed next. The Spirit will lead and I shall follow. I'm writing an essay for my UCC companions about "thinking outside the box." I have a feeling that some people really don't understand what that simple phrase implies about our how we filter everything, either through social and cultural convention, through our own personal experiences, or through our rigid religious indoctrination which tends to follow us like a black cloud. If I ever finish my thoughts, I'll post on our Faith and non-violence thread to keep us fresh and open in our thought processes.
