I know, I've been idle on my end... but been reading (yes I read) a wonderful book called Stranger At the Gate - which was a book I stumbled across (not knowing it was on this same site) and I just have to say: If you haven't read this book - get it, read it, add it to your library.

I agree. It's an awesome book. Mel White is a great role model for LGBT people everywhere. His courage to speak out for the betterment of LGBT Americans has moved us forward in our struggle for equality.

I read his other book 'Religion Gone Bad a few months back. My friend recommended 'Stranger at The Gate'. There's a copy at my library so I'll pick it up.

Stranger at the Gate is a must-read book. It is the book that changed my life. It started me on this journey of liberation and self-acceptance. I am totally indebted to Mel White for telling his story and being so influential in my life. Just saying this almost brings me to tears.
