Do you suppose we could get a chat room started on the site? Would be nice to chat together - ya know!

Please!

How about we get a few more emoticons - like a hugging one. Trust me, there's a lot here that could use hugs. Just my two bit advice for today.

I'll go away now...

Well, I ;m sending you a hug, cause it sounds like you may need one.

I'm not sure if there are ever enough people online at once to keep a live chat thing going.

An alternative would be to have a thread to be a free flowing repository for general off-topic conversation. I'm active on another forum, and we have one like that, just an online equivelant of a neighborhood bar where you can belly up and talk about whatever's on your mind.

Keeps the rest of the boards cleaned up as well, now that I think about it.

No more smilies, though. I'm militantly anti-smiley.

;)

While we're at it, I've been longing, nay, pining, for an emoticon (preferably pink) that twirls like a ballerina, to be used for expression of ebullient joyfulness.

Great idea! And then if you want to express depression, the ballernia can lay in bed all day and eat chocolate.

Now I just have to find a picture (as per Rick) of a depressed Storm Trooper dressed in a pink tutu in bed eating chocolates…

People! I was trying to help us (hint) (nudge) in getting some emoticons and here we are posting star war figurines in tu-tus.

Photobucket (http://photobucket.com/) of course, isn’t that hilarious?

I know we're actually talking about emoticons, but here’s one more I found for you, but she’s not in pink:

I do like the idea of a chat room too, the idea has been brought up before. Sometimes I don't really have anything to post, but would still like to communicate in a more informal setting.

As far as emoticons go, I could use a better "rolls eyes" simily (). That one just doesn't quite do it for me, my favorite one is this: http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x269/Emproph/rollEyes.gif, but I think that one's a bit much for most situations.
