Ok I've been thinking lately about this:

God created.....

1. Different races.
2.Different Species.
3 .Different sexes (male,female,intersexuals)
Plus much much MUCH more......

So why is it that when it comes down to sexual orientation as being talked about as a form of diversity why do people say things like only a man can love a woman and only a woman can love a man on an intimate level and any form of minor sexual orientations is just a defect and is not part of God's great plan for the universe. I mean come on people.....you can say that God made us all the same so we all like or love the same thing. I THINK NOT!!!.. I believe the almighty created us to follow our own paths that has been created for us individually.Like some people who were gay(which I believe sexual orientation is a changing thing for some people NOT ALL) and not call themselves heterosexual where never meant to be gay. It wasnt right for them and vis versa. And speaking of natural change is ones sexual orientation there have been many times where peoples orientation have changed on their own, without religious influence. And I know this is off topic but it kills me JUST KILLS ME when I here stuff like All the gay life has to offe is parties, orgies, and sex SEX SEX That is NOT true people. And some of the time the people who say that are the ones who call themselves "transformed" Well maybe the "gay life" wasnt for you and just to let you know thats not nowhere near what the the "gay life" is all about. Some homosexual do stupid and sinful things so that doesnt all of us are out here having sex with one another. IT PISSED ME OFF.....anyways....I ;m done.

Cya,

Oh yeah are hermaphrodites (intersexuals) mentioned in the creation story or anywhere in the Bible????

Thanks for readin'

And by 'rant', I am being descriptive, not judgmental. In fact, I love a good rant!

Sometimes one has to get things off one's chest. Nothing bad about that. ;)

AJ:

Fundies believe that before the Fall, the world was perfect, and there were fertile heterosexual males, and females, and nothing in between. After the Fall, there were many imperfections, and if you were imperfect, you were usually blamed for it. God made you, but if you were imperfect, somehow it was'nt God's fault, it was yours. As I understand it, unless you were clearly a sexually capable heterosexual male, you would probably be tossed into the catch-all category of eunuch. Probably many intersexed were referred to as eunuchs. I don't know how misfit women were spoken of. Back then, most women wern't spoken of much at all.

In some places in the Old Testament, it was said that if a man's male member was imperfect, or if he had "crushed testicles", probably meaning undescended, he was not allowed into the temple. If a man or woman, especially a woman was "unclean", this might be either a temporary or permanent condition, but you were not allowed into the temple, or even to talk to other people until you were no longer unclean. I wonder how the "Bleeding woman", who was said to have been so for years, survived. Probably like a leper, begging.

If I had had as much sex as some people accuse us of, I would be busy writing my memoirs, and hoping for a best seller.

As far as creation stories in the Bible are concerned, there are two of them. Genesis 1 is the seven days. God makes humans on the 6th day. It just says God made males and females. It does not set one gender over another. Genesis 2 is the Adam and Eve story. God makes man out of dust and then makes the woman later. These are 2 different stories.

And embryologists will tell us that in the early development of humans, the female comes first. In the first few weeks of life we ALL have female bodies, and it is only in the presence of a "Y" chromosome, male hormone receptors and male hormones, at the appropriate times, that the embryo becomes a male child.

If the chromosomes, hormones and receptors do not sort themselves as expected, or the timing is off, we end up with either an infertile male or female, a person variously G,L,B,T, or some combination. In the most extreme cases, the result may be intersex.

We ALL (boys and girls) have exactly the same organs, they're just a little different sized, or in slightly different places. I'm going to be a biblical literalist here. In Genesis 5 it says that God made us(yes, each and every one of us, taken one at a time) Male AND Female, not Male OR Female. I take this to mean that we are ALL genderqueer*, in one manner or another.

*Genderqueer, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genderqueer

So guys, when you go around boasting about how large your *package* is, just remember that you are really just boasting about having a large clitoris.

Or Bodies like Ours, http://www.bodieslikeours.org/

OK, AJ, does that satisfy your question?
