Ok, everyone is posting pics and wedding news, so here is mine.
I usually do not post online due to the fact my divorce was so nasty and with so many threats issued by him, that I do live in a bit of fear still. I also know he has friends that keep tabs on me. I finally decided I am done with fear and running, and I am going to live my life in the open and honestly. Aside from asking for everyones email seperately(which I have done in the past) I really have no way to share my happy news with everyone unless I do post pics here, were those I think of as my extended family can see them. Since you all could not be with me to clelbrate my happiness, I decided to throw caution to the wind and post pics.
We had a very small and intimate ceremony in our backyard. Those who have known me know I eloped to Pride last year and married on the capitol steps. I found myself feeling that Ellie deserved a wedding where family was involved and could celebrate with us. After all it's her first(and last:lol:) wedding. We followed with a family honeymoon to Great America and the Shedds Aquarium in downtown Chicago. The kids got to experience a real Chicago style hotdog and they loved that! All in all, we are exhausted but very happy. So folks, here's the pics:
