If anyone has ever gotten gum on clothes, I tried something that worked pretty well to get it out.

I heated up a 1/4 of a cup of vinegar in the microwave. I poured that vinegar on the gum on my jeans and used a toothbrush, which I dipped in the vinegar, to scrub the gum off and the gum came off. It worked pretty well in case this ever happens to you and it probably has.

that is a good sugestion. I have never heard of it. I usually use a ice cube to freeze it and scrape the rest off. Lestoil sometimes works, or GooGone.

I tried using the ice cube method but that didn't work for me.

The vinegar method that I described took the chewing gum off completely without leaving any stain or sticky residue. There is no trace that the gum was even there. The vinegar didn't damage my jeans.

I dont know what it is with kids, but every one of ours got gum stuck in their hair. I had to use real old fashioned peanutbutter to get it out. Our middle one is a boy and he wears his hair longer. It was really bad for him becuase his head is really sensitive. After we got it out, he didn't get near gum for a year!
