hey everyone! I haven't posted since i got help with me being feeling suicidial. Thanks to zerbie, I got help.

Well, last time I posted, I was desperate, and I was facing so much oppression from my family because I was gay. Finally, I made a huge step and moved out. I come from a latin family, and girls that aren't married usually don't move out until they are. It's frowned upon if you do, and it took me a while to finally stand up for myself.

My girlfriend shay and I have just soared happily in our relationship, and I finally have the time to spend with her, and it was my way of showing her I truly loved her too.

I want to thank you guys so much for being there for me.

Shay and I are currently visiting gay friendly churches and hopefully we find one soon!

I'm so happy to say God helped me through the storm!

i hope everyone is doing well, and I will make time to write more often like I always did!

So happy for you. I hope you and Shay have a happy life together and that you are blessed by God beyond belief in this relationship. I pray that your family will one day welcome you and your relationship into their lives, but until they do, it is their problem, not yours.
I hope you learned a lot during therapy. It did wonders for my marriage. My wife and I celebrate our 4th anniversary today. Too bad, Ike decided to ruin it all.:rolleyes:

Good to have you back!

And hey! As one who went through a bout of suicidal ideation (fancy term that!), it is a big big deal to be able to acknowledge it and get help! And meds can be a big help too if adminstered correctly. And getting off them is good too- that is- when the time is right. Been there. Done that!

We need all the help we can get sometimes!

I admire your courage in deciding to be with your beloved and nurturing your self. That's a big deal too.

And wonderful!

So many good things sound like they are happening in your life. Wow!
