causes Sarah Palin to drop in the poles, every time she satirizes her on Saturday Nite Live.

Indeed, life imitates art.

Maybe it's because Tina Fey is so good at emphasizing all that is silly and wrong with Palin. (I wanted to use other words, but trying to be nice :) )

I saw the Tina Fey spoof of Palin v. Couric, it was freakin' hilarious. I also saw the one with her as Palin and Clinton (was that her or someone else). Also, very very funny.:D I think Fey does a better Palin than Palin!

What's left to make fun of? I suppose she could walk into a bar while a blonde walks around it. But hasn't that been done?

It looks like they've got all the clips here (http://www.nbc.com/Saturday_Night_Live/). I just had some hearty guffaws with this one (http://www.nbc.com/Saturday_Night_Live/video/clips/update-crazy-mccain-lady-we-liked-it/768741/). Cathartic, even.

Scary, but cathartic.

I'm glad to hear it!

...and it does make sense, all it does it point out her flaws.

I remember when they did Al Gore on SNL. His whole team watched and they went and retaught him to drop some of the gestures that he was doing. I guess they never noticed how much he sighed until they saw a satire about it. He went on t.v. and said he obviously had to work on things like that, and he was grateful to SNL for pointing out things like that.

That's a good point too... and the right way to interpret the situation. If you can't laugh at it, learn from it, or even better... both!

In Omaha, Palin referenced Tina Fey's devastating parodies of her on NBC's "Saturday Night Live" program, saying of her flubbed interviews: "I was just trying to give Tina Fey more material -- job security for Saturday Night Live."

Isn't this the same as PeeWee Herman crashing his bike and then triumphantly saying " I meant to do that"? :injured:
