I love those commercials. My son gets really upset if someone says 'that's so gay" and speaks up about it. He tells people that it's really disrespectful to gay people. It's gotten him some grief, but he says that it's important to point out. He's only 12 and I am so proud of my son.

A co-worker of mine said it not to long ago, I just looked at him and he blushed red! He is for equal rights and very proactive for LGBT persons, it just popped out and that was that. It's really pervasive in our language structure.

Is the black woman in the first one Nichelle Nichols? (Uhura from Star Trek original series)

There is an interesting story about Nichelle. She was thinking about leaving the show before it was canceled and she mentioned that to Dr Martin Luther King Jr when she met him. He BEGGED her not to leave the show. he said that Star Trek was the only Television program that he allowed his daughters to watch because it portrayed a black woman in a position of authority and responsibility. She stayed with the show. what else could she do?
