It's been a long time since we asked this question...

How young are you?

You don't have to say who you are, it's just interesting to get an idea of what age group is most attracted to the forum.

Is this going to be a dead thread? :(

Sorry, but you shouldn't expect a lot from people my age.

We are pretty slow at getting things done. ;)

It looks like there isn't a big enough sample yet to draw any conclusion. Come on and vote everyone. It doesn't hurt.:injured:

The conclusion:

There are only 16 people on these forums, half of you are between the age of 40 and 50.

So much for this idea.... sorry for the boring thread.:poke:

I thought it was neat that it mostly made a pretty bell curve. :)

I'd settle for 1 31-35 year old ... if he had nice eyes.

Wow! Did I say that?

Yes. I think you did. Shocked yourself, I suppose?

Interesting that, supposedly, in heaven, everyone is around that magic age. Full of vigor, sexual allure and magnetism.

Hey Jennifer,
There you go...I am 54 years young and just getting younger and younger. It seems the more grandkids that I have the younger I get. Number seven will arrive in January and they bring out the big kid inside of me. Of course, my kids say that by the time the grandkids leave the house they are ready for a big ol' nap...but then again, so is papa.

Well, here's my story. I am 39 and am so excited for my 40th birthday. I want the black cake and balloons and all that. Life begins at 40 I say.

Unfortunately, at my age, I just can't party the same way that I used to. I get all hung over easily, tired the next day and all stuffed up from being in the bar atmosphere from the smoke. I get sore from dancing. Which is odd because I am a rehab therapist and I lift and move people all day long and I also work out. You would think I would be in pretty decent shape. No such luck, I even feel sicker when I am sick for longer. Ah well, there are some good things that come with age.....like experience, patience and wisdom:lol::lol::lol::lol:

It's great to see that this place is made up of people from many different age groups. I once thought that only younger people were interested in LGBT rights, guess not huh? That's good news.

I think it's great to have a variety of ages participating in one area. My one fear of growing old is that I'll only be around old people and I'll never see a little child or a college kid or a young 30 again. Fortunately, a lot of programs are becoming popular in housing for the elderly that incorporates housing for all ages, too.

Oh, and a quick survey: my parents' church has a group for 60+ called "The Young at Hearts." YUCK! Hate it. My sister's church has a group for the same ages called "Circle of Elders." Love it. What about the rest of you?

I think that "Young at Hearts" suggests a more fun, up-beat group(more party style)... and the "Circle of Elders" suggests a calmer, more loving, spiritual group(more family style). That's just me though... and if you agree with me, that might explain why you like one and not the other.

"Young at Hearts" is a pretty standard name for such a group. It seems kinda neutral to me. While "Circle of Elders" conjures up images of old native americans smoking a pipe around a camp fire.

i'd prefer The Old Farts Club or The Fuddy Duddies once i qualify to join. Hopefully by then i'll have learned to take things a little less seriously. :D
