It has been 18 years since I left the Assembly of God Church and I have always missed Church but just not the Assembly of God. I have been looking for sometime for a church that I could go to and I think I finally found one that I will be checking out soon. It is a Universalist Church and it is in my own backyard. I thought I would have to travel to another city. Reading their website they have an all inclusive attitude, regardless of your sexual orientation or spiritual journey. I pulled up some of there past newsletters and they teach principles from all religions. They also hold meditation classes which I have been interested in taking. They have a Christian view support group and a Buddhist view support group. I am really excited about going. I called my daughter and shared this with her and she wants to go and take her three children also. It is also nice that I won't have to visit alone.

Good for you, Bill. I hope you find a spiritual home there ... or even just a calm haven while you assess your continued journey.

Good luck. Lucky congregation getting someone like you and your family to join them.
