From 365.gay.com News:

(Conway, Arkansas) Four more members of the nondenominational Soulforce Equality Ride have been arrested attempting to enter the grounds of a conservative Christian college.

The latest arrests came at Central Baptist College, in Conway, Ark.

Upon their arrival, Riders were met by President Terry Kimbrow, who informed Riders that they were not permitted onto campus and that they would be arrested for trespassing if they proceeded.

Riders began a vigil just outside CBC property but four Riders, who said they wanted to speak with students who had gathered on campus several yards from the vigil, entered onto college property and were arrested for trespassing.

They are identified as Lauren Parke of Seattle, Wash.; Alex Lundy of Syosset, N.Y.; and Katie Higgins and Enzi Tanner, both of Minneapolis, Minn.

There's a group on facebook that opposes the Ride. A few BYU students. They're very unpleasant.

"Don't get me wrong - I have nothing against those who are gay, lesbian, transgendered, or whatever. We believe in treating them with kindness and respect. HOWEVER - the group Soulforce annually parades across the nation, convincing Universities to let them on campus only to then break the rules that they and the Universities agree on."

"The "equality riders" will be in Provo, UT on March 21 and 22. Last year the University let them on campus with some restrictions. They then broke the rules agreed on and were subsequently arrested. They make it a point to get arrested at almost every University they visit. It's getting a little bit old guys - give it up.

As has been mentioned, the "equality riders" will be walking around BYU campus from 10 AM to 4 PM on Thursday, March 22nd wearing red. Probably the best action to take would be to ignore them completely - but do whatever you'd like. Just remember, they have no respect for the law, so watch out.

Update: A mother and her son were arrested today (Thursday, March 22nd) when they illegally entered University property to deliver a list of grievances to BYU administration.

BYU police was more than ready to deal with Soulforce. The corner of North Canyon and Bulldog was surrounded by police officers in dark suits and three large passenger vans waited nearby to pick up the criminals. You can read about the story here: http://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=148&sid=1019286"

There are several homophobic comments on the wall, reflecting a general stupidity among members of the group.

"I dont need a bus to tell me to be gay , we dont like them is not beacsue they are gay its becasue they are annoying and stupid !!. I dont care if u are gay or not gay .is their action makes people dislike them"

"I think the best thing to do is be nice to them. but don't let kindness be confused for weakness. as long as we stay strong in our moral values it really doesn't mater what soulforce thinks. Homosexual is a disease and it's sexually transmited. thank goodness it's not contageous! "

I worry when I see these things. Has the IQ of the nation fallen this low already? The way that Christianity is represented, I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes listed as a mental disorder. Every one of these objectors seems intellectually impaired.

"i joined this group but really i want them to come... so i can hurt them."

Sometimes I feel like Christians really worship a particularly foul demon. These people make me think of the police who set loose their dogs on the colored people that worked with King. Would they oppose those who believed in equality for black people? Would they have stoned King for encouraging people to rebel? These acts of civil disobedience were lauded in grade school. Ours are now condemned.

They want our blood. They say they have nothing against us, and believe we should be treated with respect, but every word of the group's creator and its members is filled with hate.

"Soulforce marching with "list of grievances" - probably an empty box."

This photo caption is proof that he is a foul hypocrite. He is childish and stupid.

Every time I decide to give them another chance, they manage to make me even angrier than I was in the first place.

"I don't need a bus to tell me to be gay....

I agree. I hate it when buses tell me to be gay.
