I wish I lived in CA! I so much want to be part of it, the marching and politics. I could not get my boss to ok the time off(need a month to submit time off) so quickly so I am not going to CA. My best friend lives there, so I would have a place to stay, in Sebastapol, outside or San Fran. Ellie would stay here with the kids and I would protest. Keep up the good work, we pray for you guys!

Thank you for sharing these Rick - keep posting them.
If these protests continue past the weekend, DH and I may just be able to take a couple days to drive over to CA.

Hey Z, any thoughts on coming to SF or Sac on Saturday the 15th? If I can't find a local action planned, I will join the one in SF. For Sac, anyone is welcome to stay with me - we have a couch & floor, but it's free. I'll post if I hear anything planned. I"m going to check around this week and when I get home.
I'm in So CA right now visiting my aunt and grandma. Sunday nite is the protest at Rick Warren's church - if anyone lives in the area and plans on going, please PM me about the possibility of giving me a ride. I would love to go but I think the cab fare would be too expensive for me.

The problem with that is I accepted a gig months ago for the morning of 16th, and I need to be well-rested, in shape to perform, and out my door by 7am on that Sunday.
It sounds like you're referring to the national protests announced on that other site -- they did call for one in Phoenix. I am talking to some other activists about it and if the one happens in Phoenix then we will just participate in the local one.
