I wish spontaneous, simultaneous marches were springing up nationwide, not just in California. This is galvanizing, folks. We need to not drop it, but keep carrying the momentum.
Anyone?

I agree Zerbie. We can't stop now. The more they keep us from civil rights, the more evident it becomes that it is unconstitutional and uncivilized. Let's keep up the momentum!

I've had a few debates on face book and I blogged about it which got me a little heat over the subject.
I've been told I've put my gay friends above God!
As a straight ally I feel talking about it within straight circles is one way to open some minds. I must say though the minds are not very open.
My recent blog about it (http://wunsicdude.blogspot.com/2008/11/marriage.html)

I'm with you on that pnggrad79. Unfortunately I think the street demonstrations will probably slow down soon, at least temporarily. The holidays are coming and most people will be preparing for them. Besides, angry street protests at Christmastime sends out the wrong message during a time of "Peace on Earth".
But after the holidays I think we should hit the streets in mass. I think it's time for another national march

"Being a follower of Christ is nothing if we rob people of the dignity and respect they deserve."
-- Tim.
Brilliant. Excellently stated. This belongs on t shirts, bumper stickers, and should be quoted widely.

Actually, I'm a little disappointed that the only major actions are happening in LA and SF (here in CA). We're missing the boat in Sac. I'm trying to get something together.
Meanwhile, we desperately need national actions. We need to march on Washington, but after the new president takes office. We need to begin to make our voices heard on a national level. Eventually the issue will present nationally, if we start now, we'll get more to listen.
Anyone for helping to organize a national event after January?
