Gay Marriage now legal in Connecticut!!!!

A time to celebrate!! Gay marriage is now legal in Connecticut.

From CNN News:

NEW HAVEN, Connecticut (AP) -- A judge cleared the way Wednesday for gay marriage in Connecticut, a victory for advocates stung by California's referendum that banned same-sex unions in that state.

Minutes after a judge entered a final ruling, the New Haven city clerk's office issued its first marriage license to a gay couple. It went to Barbara and Robin Levine-Ritterman of New Haven, one of the eight couples who successfully challenged a state law prohibiting gay marriage.

Already there is word going around how the religious wrong must now step up their fight to take away marriage in Connecticut. They feel it will be a longshot, but are willing to do anything in their efforts. Look out Connecticut.

The religious wrong...

I've always found the right and left to be interesting. The whole left hand right hand thing from the Gospels. I always wondered, what did goats ever do to get put on the left. Sheep are stupid. They can't function without a leader to follow blindly. Goats are intelligent and inquisitive. Goats are cool. Easy to domesticate, easy to feed, useful, and affectionate.

I've long wanted to send the Pope a thesaurus with a few words bookmarked. "Objective" because I don't think he really knows what that means, and "intrinsically" and "disordered" because he uses them waaaaaay too much.
