This is a great video. Rachel Maddow made a mention of it in her show tonight, they played a brief clip of "Jesus" talking about how some pick & choose what they want to follow in the Bible.

Maybe we really need the musical, a 2 hour presentation to tour the US!!! Coming soon to a musical theater near you! :D

Prop 8 was a response to a California Supreme Court ruling that struck down a similar state statue, Proposition 22. Since passage, Prop 8 supporters have been assaulted and threatened and churches, homes and cars vandalized.

To see the creator (ha!) aka Mr. Shaiman - a gay man- on Olbermann's Count Down this evening being supported by two straight men, one of whom was Mr. Black.

Shaiman wrote and rehearsed the piece in a day and they filmed it the next.

So very much like live theatre. And a conservative group is protesting it? I'd like to see their musical repsonse. I can see it now.
