Does anyone know if it's possible to save YouTube videos and burn them on a DVD? In case it's relevant, I have a MAC.

Ahhhh...a fellow Mac user!!!:D
If you have Firefox as a web browser there is an add-on that you can get called "Fast Video Download (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3590)". It will allow you to download video from the net including YouTube video.
As far as burning them to DVD, I am sure you can use most any burning software out there. Toast is what I use on my Mac Mini and it works pretty well. I have never gotten into the DVD stuff that came with the Mac so I have never really used it.
You will need and .flv file player, you can download one here (http://www.download.com/FLV-Player/3000-13632_4-10467081.html?cdlPid=10985279). If you want to burn .flv files to DVD then you may need to convert them to .avi or MPEG files you can get a free .flv converter here (http://www.download.com/Free-FLV-Converter/3000-2194_4-10832044.html). I think this software (http://www.download.com/Free-FLV-Converter/3000-2194_4-10832044.html) will download and convert the YouTube videos I am not totally sure. Make sure when you install this program, uncheck the toolbar addon that it comes with. Some issues have come up with it. Just install the necessary program and no add-ons and you should be fine. But if you do a search for "free .flv converter" you can find lots of stuff out there. For Mac I use mainly Softpedia (http://www.softpedia.com) for most of the stuff that I look for. They are really good with Mac software downloads.
The Firefox add-on should be what you need to download video though. If you do not have Firefox (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/), I totally recommend you get it. Much better than Safari and IE for Mac!!!
Hope this helps Tdogg. If not let me know and I will see what else I can come up with for you. I have spent TONS OF TIME looking for Mac programs!
Peace,
Scott

Thanks Scott!!!
I appreciate the info and you taking the time to lay it all out complete with links. Will do. I'm trying to make a Prop 8-related video for my Aunt who doesn't have a computer.
Going to print out your instructions/information and work on it this weekend. I will let you know how it goes. :D:love:
Oh, and yes I have Firefox. I use Safari for easy quick browsing (I don't have to re-login for some sites) but Firefox is my go-to for things I NEED to look up or get done. Can't beat it, far surpasses anything Explorer ever tried to be or do.
