Just curious, has anybody ever seen or read the play Angels in America? It is astounding and wonderful. It really gives it's audience a venue to look at different forms of oppression to see the interconnectedness that they share. It also embodies the struggle of homosexual men in America. Truly an amazing play.

I saw both plays November 1993, the same year it won a Tony and a Pulitzer. A truly amazing 2 nights of theatre. I still remember leaving after the first night, and couldn't wait to see the second part. It blew my head off!

It's interesting that the issue of religion was very much present in the character of the Mormon mother. Interesting because Mormon's put up a lot of money to pass Prop 8 recently. So- one might say that the play has lost none of it's relevance.

It is as powerful as ever.

After seeing the movie and enjoying it very much too, I really admire how the play touches one in a very particular way.

Live theatre! There is nothing like it!

Saw it on DVD. Some of the plot is over my head, but overall very good. I really, really want to see Milk, and darn it it's not showing anywhere nearby.

i've read the play and seen the hbo film, but haven't had the chance to see it on stage. as a theatre person, it is a goal of mine to work the show.
