Hey everyone, my name is Kristopher im 18 and im an FtM (Failed to Mature lol get the joke?) I'm not too sure what to put here but here it goes.

I'm a Female to Male transsexual that has not started my transition yet, complications within my family (Meaning I'm scared shitless to come out lol) has put me on hold in creating myself.

My passions include:
reading, I will read anything once I am quite the book worm; writing, two of my books that I have written will be published within a few months to a year im quite looking forward to that; I'm a bandgeek and not afriad to admit it, I play Clarinet, Baritone Saxaphone, Trumpet, Piano, and Guitar; I'm very much into listening to music of any kind, but im not too fond of rap its just not my cup of tea even though there are a few songs I love to listen to; I'm an art fanatic, drawing and painting are what I do when my creativity for writing is stunted for what ever reasons; I love spending time with my friends who have supported me throughout everything I have chosen for myself in my life; I'm an Otaku, I love Japanese animation and Manga, I cosplay at Anime conventions the one comming up in my area I plan on attending is JaCon in Orlando Florida May 22-24; and last but not least If I'm not doing any of the other things listed I'm talking to my Fiance of 5 years Jessica who I dont think I would have made it this far without, our relationship has been difficault seeing as we are over 1000 miles away from eachother but some how we made it, I love her with all my heart and soul.

Um....I'm thinking thats all I have to share lol. If you would love to talk about anything or everything just message me :D I'm always up for a good conversation to pass the time.

Kristopher,

You must be very talented to play all those instruments. The only thing I can play is the radio.

You may be "on hold in creating yourself" but you're young and have your whole life ahead of you to explore and enjoy.

Looking forward to hearing more from you.

Welcome to the forum. :)

Rick

Hi Kristopher and welcome. I am a writer myself. I'm working on some essays that will be published later this year. You and your girlfriend are to be commended staying together during a difficult time. Miles didn't separate your love  for each other.

Hi, Kristopher,

I'm Ben, and I'm a gay man married to an FTM. He didn't start his transition until age 53, so you're ahead of the game already.

Welcome to Soulforce.

Hello, welcome! 18... such an exciting and scary age to be. When I was that age, the first "Now That's What I Call Music" CD was out! (How many have been made since, like 50?!) You sound like a really talented and smart person.

I knew little about trans individuals until I met a MTF TG two years ago, who is now one of my dearest friends. I hope you'll find courage for your journey. It has to be scary to wonder what your family will think. Many blessings!

Thanks :D I Noticed your from South Dakota, I lived there for a year, about an hour north of Sioux Falls.

Yes it is quite scary, My family thinks that I am a lesbian and for now I'm quite fine with them believing that, they dont have a problem with my Fiance(Even though they just think shes only my Girl Friend >_>) but im pretty sure thats only because she lives over 1000 miles away from me :(

Merry Part and Blessed Be :)

And this just reinforces a point that I am trying to make. We need to find a way to make ourselves more findable online.

I used to date, and then live with a voracious young MTF who had figured out pretty early in her life how get a man's attention.

Souix Falls? I belong to a group of women's rights activists, and every couple of years we take a bus down there to doorknock against the anti-abortion ballot initiative that shows up with every election.

And I would never go so far as to choose the name Kristopher for myself, but I am quite happy to have chosen Chris.

Namaste', Bruce Chris

I myself am an artist (BFA in art) . I am also musically inclined, although not to the degree of your talents. It is very impressive that your having books published at 18..wow! You have so much going for you that your indentification is but a formality. Yes, we all desire acceptance from our families. I would say, though, that your ver lucky to be living in a better place of universal history. Our (LGBT) ancestors surely had a much worse time of it. Godspeed, my friend! You are who you are!:D
