A lot of you on this forum has been commenting on my other forum "bad news" I would like it if you would stop because something a teacher showed me today made me realize something. It made me realize that there will always be someone out there that has it worse then me. I have had some bad experiences but the things I have done to get into trouble with the police have been my own fault and I can not blame anyone but myself. I am going to show a link to what I watched today it is like 9 minutes long but please watch it. It is really inspiring to know that this man can overcome all the challenges in his life but I am having trouble with me own. So I am sorry for all the things said on the other forum but I am serious about changing because I want to live for God like I use too.

Thanks for sharing that video. There's not much to complain about when you see a person with no limbs having a productive and inspirational life. It makes me thankful to be able to push my own wheelchair...and many other things.

You have just experienced the salve of Appreciation. Appreciation for the blessings you have. Health, youth, etc. wonderful isn't it?
And nothing changed except how you look at yourself.
Ah! but that is everything isn't it
How about looking at yourself another way?
How about seeing the shining boy inside you? How about forgiving yourself? Do you trust your heart enough to ask it to forgive you? Ask yourself.
How do I do this?
Practice and listen to words of affirmation from those who see you as the shining being that you truly are right now with no changes necessary. The simple truth is that you are a magnificent being capable of compassion for yourself and others. You have a capacity for loving your own gender, a gift from God.
You have been taught to harm yourself by people who are acting unskillfully and by following their example have acted unskillfully yourself. Forgive yourself. Perhaps not right now, but when you can do it safely, forgive them also.
Feel my compassion extended to you. You need not suffer further in payment. You have paid enough already.

Thanks so much for sharing the video, very powerful. With each challenge, setback, obstacle and mishap I try to remind myself that there are others who are in worse situations. Trying to remain positive and seeing the light at the end of tunnel can be very difficult in these situations!
