I'm a little worried about Christine. I haven't seen a post on this forum from her since just before Christmas. She told us then that she had just been through a very tough time as she cared for a six year old girl who died from brain cancer.
She hasn't posted on here since.
I miss her.

Good question. Christine's such a sweet gal. Did you send her a PM?

check her profile and see if she has been on. It may be that she is just lurking for a while.

I know she and her gf broke up for like the umpteenth time and she was going to take some time off to center herself and reevaluate things. She is a sweet lady and I miss her.

I am still around just SOOO busy! I have been dropping off since the election, new relationship, working two jobs, and facebook addiction!
Things are going pretty well. My son is still in an outpatient drug rehab after school and I have been working two jobs to pay for that. I have been dating the girl that I posted about for three months and things are WONDERFUL there I can't even put it in to words. No uhaul yet....she is moving closer to me though into a condo of her own, 3 miles away. This was planned before we met. We continue to take things very slow and I am amazed at how healthy and wonderful love can be.
After the election I kind of dropped off my attendance but am so thrilled to see that I was missed! I have sorta been on a facebook binge, catching up with old friends and such. I will have to step up my SF attendance, as it is nice to be missed by friends!
So, hello everyone! I have missed you too!! Oh, and say some prayers for us....we just had our dog, Barney put to sleep today...we had him for 7 years. My 15 year old is completely devestated. She is taking it very hard.
Love y'all!!!

Christine,
I'm so glad you're doing so well. I have missed your posts.
I'm sorry to hear about your dog Barney. I know how difficult it is to lose a beloved pet. I know you and your 15 year old are grieving but time will heal the pain and leave you with great memories.
But, I'm happy to hear that you are enjoying your relationship with your new girlfriend. That sounds wonderful and I know that these are great times for both of you. I love to see someone so nice so happy. Savor the moments.
I hope you enjoyed the snowfall we had last week here in the Triad. I went for an hour and a half walk in the middle of the snowstorm last Sunday night. It was beautiful. I loved it.
Please keep in touch from time to time and let us know what's going on in your life.
It's good to hear from you. :)

Sorry about Barney. We went through a similar experience around November last year, when 2 of our 4 puppies died of parvo. All 4 had it, but 2 died. The other two are big dogs now and we are grateful for their survival, but they are only gonna get bigger.
I am so glad you have a gf. That other one-do you ever hear from her? I hope not. It looks as though you moved on and that is a good thing...I know you have a lot on your plate with your kids, so many prayers going up for you.
Keep us posted. We missed you!!!:)
