It seems today that all we see is violence in movies and sex on TV. But where are those good old fashion values - for which we used to rely? Lucky there's Family Guy.

A quote aired on the show:

Peter Griffin: "I agree, Lois. Like, for instance, if you're watching a TV show and you decide to take your values from that... you're an idiot. Maybe you should take responsibility for what values your kids are getting. Maybe you shouldn't be letting your kids watch certain shows in the first place if you have such a big problem with them, instead of blaming the shows themselves. Yeah, that's right."

I've always felt that Family Guy is more adult humor than for children. It's a pretty darn violent show at times. They don't seem to have a bias on the show. Everyone can be a target of their humor. There is no way I would let a younger child watch the show. There are just too many adult subjects that come up.

I watched one episode with dad and gene simmons comes in, his tongue rolls out of his mouth and eventually finds Louis. There was quite an awkward moment there with me and pops.

If you know what I'm talking about above, you can probably get the questions right at this content - http://contest.firstonmars.com/family_guy/.

I agree that this isn't Family Guy's problem. The show is not meant for little kids, if the parents have a problem with the show they should take a little responsibility. It'd be nice if the parents in this country would stop blaming someone else for the way their kids act, they have no one to blame but themselves. :disagree:
