Hey everybody!

My name is Liam, I'm 19 and I live in Ireland. I'm a student and I study history. I'm also a Christian of the Anglican (Episcopalian) tradition and God decided to bless me with homosexuality.

I know this introduction is small but, I thought it's best to keep it short and sweet! :p

Hello, Liam!

I was in your country last August, and fell in love with it. I stayed in Ennis for several days (a little ways north of Shannon, I believe). The avatar picture is one I took during a bike ride with my friend on our way back from the Allwee Caves. I would be curious to know more about the gay, lesbian, bi, and trans movement in your country, and whether you have to face a lot of discrimination there?

The LGBT movement in Ireland is strong. The only descrimination we face comes from the state rather than people. 52% of Irish people are in favour of gay marriage and 89% are in favour of a "Civil Union" type thing. The only problem is, the civil rights bill drawn up by the government is more of an insult than anything.

I live in Cork which is FULL of gay lol! It's a great place to live. You can be who ever you want to be.
