Hey there, my name is Joan and I'm 16 years old.
I'm still a junior in high school. I'm a Catholic church-goer. Most people chuckle when I tell them that, and I just nod my head and accept the irony.

Well, there's really nothing much to say about me other than that I'm already out to everybody including my parents. They took it surprisingly well, and our relationship is better than it ever was now.

I did struggle with my homosexuality and I prayed tons about it, sometimes wishing it'd just go away, and other times telling God to make the right decision for me because of my hopelessness. Thankfully, my friends were completely supportive of me and I learned that it's OK to be a homosexual.
Now I choose to be devoted to the Catholic Church because Jesus Christ is just that important to me that I'd undergo smirks and giggles when I reveal my religion.

Here's to hoping the rest of the world can see that God loves us too.

You are very blessed to have parents and friends who accept and love you. From what you say, you are already aware that there will be many in the Catholic church that will probably not.

I wish you the very best in life, please come back and tell us more about yourself. :agree:

Peace and Love, Bruce Chris

It's always good to have a little mature and a little young. That's wisdom and energy amalgamated in order to combat the problem.

And my hobbies??
Well, I like being on the computer a lot. I also love to exercise.
Reading in languages other than English also entertains me.

I guess anyone who joins a forum group loves the computer, huh?
Reading in other languages? That's impressive! :)

I agree btw, I love being part of a group with a huge age range, those who are older and wiser have a lot to teach us.
