does anyone know of any gay publishers who are looking for new authors? if so then please check out my post entitled ...unrequieted love.

My writing teacher (I've taken a number of classes in the past few years) would mostly tell you to check the back pages of Poet's and Writer's Magazine.

However, my understanding is that publishers don't "look" for authors. What they look for is good material to publish .

There are several things you can do to make this happen.

1) Write a book proposal and send it to an editor with a publishing house.

2) Send a query letter to an agent.

These two steps take some work. And you can find out how to do them by researching the internet and taking classes from those who have been published.
