I am a member of an Evangelical Lutheran Church, which is about to vote on approval for same sex partnerships. I have never been judgemental abouts same sex relationships until I became a Christian about 4 years ago. For the last two days, I have been praying whether or not to support this resolution since a common thread in the church has been that the Bible does not support same sex relationships. In my research, I came upon the Soulforce website article by Rev Mel White, and after readings Romans 2, I believe that the ELCA is right to open its doors to people who have same sex relationships. Who am I or anyone else to judge and deny people God and Jesus Christ.
I just needed to express my support and give thanks to the Rev White for opening my eyes to what the Bible says and allowing me to follow a natural inclination. This subject has been bothering me for years and now I have found my answer. Good Luck in your quest to find equality.
