Hi, I just wanted to introduce myself... so, uh Hi. My name is Catherine, I'm 25, and I am a former Mormon(LDS). I was born and raised LDS, and I think they still have me on the books... it's a little complicated, I'm working on that. However, I've been going to King of Peace MCC. I currently live in St. Petersburg, FL. Before that I was born and raised in Terre Haute, IN (an hour west of Indianapolis). So, if you wanna say hi or whatever, I'd love to hear from you. :rainbow:

I was once married to a Kathy, but she was/is a Kathleen. So there can be at least 4 different spellings of Kathy/Cathy, before you shorten it.

I was once an Investigator, (that's a Mormon almost-wannabe) but it didn't work for me, either.

My church was formed when a bunch of liberals split off from an MCC church. We are now a UCC church. There are some wonderful people there.

My parents retired to a small town just south of Orlando, St. Cloud. You drive through it on your way to Disney World.

So come back and tell us more.

Peace and Love, Bruce Chris

I too was raised as a Mormon. I was even sealed in the temple to my husband with my children. I attended several GLBT churches before finding my church home and knowing that I was not a sinner. I hope you enjoy your journey and have found peace. I look forward to getting to know you.
