Hi there,

My name is John and this is my first time on this site. I was at a discussion last night where I watched "for the bible tells me so" and was introduced to soulforce...Wow, seems like there are some amazing people on here and I look forward to reading, chatting and hearing all about your lives and continuing journeys.

I am an English guys who has lived in several countries i.e. France, Turkey, Sardinia, Corsica, Guernsey and have travelled to the states and parts of asia....Bottom line is I love people, culture and diversity.

I am currently completing my Business Studies degree part time and hope to finish up at the end of next year. I find that there are not many christians who are gay where I live (Hamilton) or many gay people, very different from Europe so I do have my lonely times....

I believe strongly in loving each other, encouraging each other and supporting each other for the good Lord told us so....

I look forward to hearing from you guys, feel free to say hi!

Blessings,

Johnny

Hey, Johnny,

Welcome to Soulforce. We're good company, if I say so myself, and we'd love to give you support across the ether. And get some from you in return.

Folks on SF come from many diverse backgrounds, socially and religiously. Don't fall into the trap of thinking this is exclusively a christian site ... although christians, former or present, make up a good number of our members. We also have pagans and atheists and agnostics -- at least one radical fairie. We all try to honor each other's spiritual journey. We all stand for eliminating persecution of LGBT people by organized religion through nonviolent means.

Welcome, John. Read the threads and join the conversations.

Welcome aboard. Sounds like you're well travelled. I hope to get out and see more of the world myself.
