Hope my friends of the Earth-based persuasion enjoyed their celebration! I had a spectuacular day, celebrating with my circle members, who are gentle, fun, intelligent souls.

During ritual we named the things we are thankful for, and I had so many. Life, family, friends, and a possible budding relationship with a sexy, smart, great guy (met him in Walmart of all places :) ). Life has been rocky this last long while, but the goddess has blessed me. In spite of all the pain and crap, I'm thankful to be alive.

O Lady of the Moon and Lord of the Sun,
before Whom the Stars halt their courses,
I offer my thanks
For the continuing Fertility of the Earth.
May the nodding grain loose its seeds
To be buried in the Mother’s breast
Ensuring Rebirth in the Warmth of next Spring…

(Consume the rest of the ritual fruit)
It is appropriate to plant the seeds from the fruit consumed in
ritual. If they sprout, grow the plant with love and as a symbol of
your connection with the Goddess and God.

Like a seed, a new day, a new way promises potential of growing to fruition. Your body and spirit are in tune with your heart and Mother Earth. You sense this reunion of your parts with joy and love, like finding a brother who you thought was lost and possibly dead. Embrace your precious beloved heart brother, so essential. Embrace your own heart. It loves you, you Know. Embrace your lustful intimacy and the energy it gives you both. Embrace mother Earth, Mother of all. Feel her lovingkindness.
