This is absolutely brilliant! In short, John Marcotte is proposing a bill in California which will protect marriage by banning divorce. He goes as far as to say the bible teaches divorce is a sin and should therefore be eliminated. The beauty of this is it nails down all those who shouted for protecting marriage by passing prop 8; if they truly wish to "protect marriage" this is the logical choice. I can't wait to share this with those who supported prop 8 to see their reaction at the possibility of the government telling them who they can and can't marry...or in this case divorce.
