I live in West Texas where being gay is considered a sin. I am very closeted. I read some things on here that reminded me so much of the struggle that I have been through that I decided to join. It will be good to have someone to talk with.

Hi James,

I spent a lot of time in the closet and know what you are talking about. The first place I ever "came out" to anyone was on these forums. It good to just be able to talk to someone without being required to hide.
