Someone has come up with a pretty brilliant idea. They are directly quoting the words of extremist political "Christians" and putting them in speech bubbles on images of Christ to show the complete incongruence. If you click on each picture, it links to the source where the quote is taken from.

I'm often tempted to quote George Bernard Shaw and say "It's in the Bible". And it is if you write it in there with a Sharpie.

That was too much. Especially funny was Jesus holding a Winchester rifle saying "We need to thin the herd." Well, not funny exactly but ironic. What people say who are supposedly Christians? It boggles the mind.:headbang:

I read through all 8 pages of these. I thought it was an amusing website. It's half-scary/half-laughable that people think and say these kind of things. And the nice touch with this, that cemented it, was putting what they were saying in the mouth of Jesus... Really guys? Christians, they boggle me.
I'm reminded of a great quote: "I like your Christ, but not your Christians." -- Ghandi. He said it better than I could have.

I like the one about the gospel punk rock band saying that muslims countried are right to execute gays because they are doing what the scriptures say to do. It made me giggle. Back when I knew punk rock it was the devil's music. :)

I also remember someone saying to write John 3:16 on the bullets to put the word of God in their hearts.
