I recently tried to get a copy of "Equality U" on DVD for myself. I appear to be unable to do so. I was wondering: could Soulforce (assuming that the DVD is out of print,) put the entire video on the website? Just a thought

Is anybody with me on this? Anybody at all? Or, as an alternative, could someone explain to me why this is an impossible or otherwise bad idea?

The Soulforce staff is currently down to bare bones, due to the economy. I've forwarded your request on. Hopefully, we'll hear something back soon. Bare with us. Kara

...thanks for the reply. As it happens, one of my efforts to see Equality U has actually paid off, thanks to the concept of interlibrary loan. So, for myself, I don't need it on the site personally.
That said, I still think it's a good idea. The disc appears to be out of print, and even as an atheist, I'd rather have someone staying alive rather than killing themselves. Unless I am very much mistaken, the suicides of LGBT teens is still occurring. It might be a good idea to put that up, maybe in some kind of "video encouragement" section for those who need/want it. Indeed, I'll even admit that, in my more religious days (...which seems a lifetime ago...) I could have used that message myself.
Thanks again for listening.

Unfortunately Soulforce doesn't own the video. However, it can be purchased from Amazon.com for less than $20.00. Kara
