Last night there was a press conference with the "Alliance For Marriage" http://www.allianceformarriage.org/site/PageServer It actually played right before the CAP & CATO forum. The director of the AFM kept pulling this black woman into the picture... it was such an obvious ploy to use her to make their agenda look inclusive. What was even more telling was their inability to handle direct questions from the press. After avoiding giving answers to about six questions the AFM director closed the press conference. It was a clear defeat.
I couldn't find the actual video for that conference, so I've included a link to Bush's statement.
President Bush's statement...

AFTER the AFM press conference, The Center for American Progress & the CATO Institute hosted a panel forum on the amendment...

If you have the time, I STRONGLY encourage you to watch both video clips. I believe you will find any arguement for the amendment to be baseless, bigoted and simply an attempt to incite the masses to vote Repbulican.
